Goon Trailer

The trailer for comic book adaption Goon just premiered at the holiest of holy geek meetings, Sand Diego ComicCon. It does look like about the edgiest, sickest and most violent thing done in 3D feature animation yet (Tomek Baginski is another record breaker in this niche), so far dominated by toddler enchanters (I know- weird term). Eric Powell's Goon comic book series is a cult favourite blending genres such as crime, noir and zombie with the title character looking like a Hulk-ified prohibition era bootlegger. As far as I can tell from the trailer the black humour and the graphics are true to the source material.
