Eviction Notice

Wax just dropped his 2nd mixtape since snatching up a deal with Def Jam, this ones titled Eviction Notice. Production on this mixtape is ill as fuck, and Wax is still drinking like he was getting paid to do it - a combination that has proved to be very successful for him in the past, and he continues this trend with Eviction Notice.

Although it does feature a few tracks with choruses that I can imagine being chanted at college dorm parties; Wax still manages to deliver non-stop killer lines, even when the general theme or mood of the track may be a little corny (Track 4, i'm looking at you.).

Bottom line: He's still a good writer, still infuses comedic-value into some of his tracks - but at the same time still addresses relevant issues while doing so; which separates him from a lot of more famous rappers out right now. DOWNLOAD IT!

Banksy is back to the London streets, with a tribute to King Robbo, at the exact same spot that started the controversy (covered here) two years ago. In a sign of making peace, Mr. B drew the outline like King Robbo did back in 1985 in the original and added a “spray can” candle, as a well wisher to Robbo, currently in induced coma.

This is a mini documentary showing the work and some of the process of Mtendere Mandowa (Teebs). On a side not Teebs have released his new album/ep called Collections 01. Just like his "Ardour" album it does not dissapoint. From Teebs: “With this record I’m trying to imagine a side project or group of mine that just so happened to make the same exact music as I’m making now. These records are neither EPs or full albums. Just mini collections of ideas…I hope to release them randomly through my life as if they were paintings in a drawn out series. The vibe I want people to be sent off with is a feeling of going out and buying some kind of rare library record they always wanted and not a “new album/EP.” This will be the first ‘Collections’.”
