FAILE Temple

Faile's latest project is nothing less than a majestic, ruined temple on Praça dos Restauradores Square in Lisbon, Portugal. Blended with reliefs and mosaics based on their more commonly wheatpasted prints, the temple also features a Scuba Horse sculpture made in collaboration with Charlie Becker. The contrast between the washed out tiles and contemporary statements is striking to say the least, and definitely deserves to last a lot longer than the brief one month period of the Portugal Arte 10 (16 July - 15 August).
