Vic Mensa - Orange Soda

Chicago has been consistently producing some of the most talented up-and-coming rappers since the days of Crucial Conflict and Common - but it's the newer Chicago-based artists; Vic Mensa, Rockie Fresh, Chance the Rapper, BrandUn DeShay - even Chief Keef, that have been generating crazy amounts of blog-love and reminding hip-hop heads worldwide of the city that made them.

Vic Mensa is by no means a brand new addition to this city's already impressive roster. He has been releasing tracks, verses, and features consistently since Outta This World. Possibly best-known for his involvement with the now broken-up band Kids These Days, his verses always impress, so when we were over at Afromullets HQ one day doing what we do, we found out about a project called the INNANET TAPE that Vic Mensa is working on, and we were excited.

The rapper has since released videos for 2 of the tracks from his tape, Did It B4 and Orange Soda, and we loved the latter so much that we decided to share it with you, and encourage you to do the same!
