Some of you will dismiss this mixtape thinking nothing can ever live up to Illmatic but believe me when I say that you are making a mistake. This is a freaking fantastic tribute mixtape. The beats and melodies from the Illmatic have been revamped and revitalized by the Will Sessions band over which Elzhi tell his own personal story. Thanks to his flow and lyricism and the revitalized beats Elmatic this project ended up great. I am pretty sure this will be on repeat on your iPod for next few days and I'm sure you will be coming back to it as the year passes by. Click on the cover for the download link.

Smooth, intense, releasing, breathtaking. Superb sampling of Amy Winehouse, it's got that James Blake feel to it. Whoever this Ifan Dafydd is, he should make more music. :)
